The Early Careers Framework Project
We are proud that we have been selected to be part of this prestigious pilot programme.  After we completed our application and finished the interview process, we were thrilled to discover that we were one of approximately 40 schools nationally (primary and secondary) chosen to trial the Early Careers Support Programme ready for a proposed national roll out in the next two years.

This programme is a structured training and support package for early career teachers linked to the best possible research evidence. It is very exciting to think that our school has the opportunity to shape professional development opportunities for teachers across the whole country.

The Great Expectations Project
We also applied to be part of a project which aims to encapsulate the qualities of schools which have a strong ethos and culture, to better understand how schools become great. We were one of approximately 25 schools (primary and secondary) accepted onto this project and our practice will be presented as a case study and published to support strong system leadership in Hertfordshire.

The Wellbeing Quality Mark
This year we have invested in working towards the Wellbeing Quality Mark. Participating schools complete a two-part self-evaluation linked to how the school is promoting health and wellbeing in the curriculum, throughout the school environment and across the wider school community. We aim to put wellbeing at the forefront of all of our practice and this evaluation ensures we do this most effectively.
