Killigrew Primary School and Nursery is a two form entry community school for 4-11 year olds. The site is extensive and is surrounded by woods and fields. The school and nursery have excellent facilities.
We feel that we have achieved a ‘family’ atmosphere where even the shyest child feels at home. Children are encouraged to take on responsibilities from an early age and this leads to self-confidence and a responsible attitude to others and to the environment.
We are committed to providing the best possible education for your child. At Killigrew we have an established reputation for providing high standards and expectations within a well ordered and caring environment. Every child matters to us and our aim is to encourage pupils to achieve their best and to lay the foundations on which their future learning is built.
Starting nursery or school is an exciting and important time for every young child and their parent and we want it to be a happy and successful experience. With your help and support we will work together to provide the best possible start to your child’s education and to make their time in the education system enjoyable and successful.
Killigrew Primary and Nursery School monitors all policies and procedures to ensure that the different and diverse groups within the school community have their needs addressed. This will be monitored through the school complaints system.
